Dr. Brynn Ong
Welcome everyone!! I am a second year doctor working at NSH, New Zealand. My degree (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) was obtained from completing 6 long years in Otago University Medical School- the BEST medical school for sure! I was your typical, average-grade high school student, absolutely clueless but determined and worked hard for my dream to be a doctor.
Just like everyone else, I started as an undergraduate, battled through the fury of health science first year without adequate preparation or expectation. Knowing how difficult the road to be a NZ health professional can be, I have been giving tips and advice to junior students- how to excel in exams, how/ what to study, where to find useful resources, what to do if they fail a paper etc. etc.
For a long time, I wanted to create a single site that contain all these useful information so that they are easily accessible by university students (from first years to even senior students). Of course, I am not an expert, I am simply a junior doctor that has been through university student life, but my experiences and mistakes that I learned could be useful to you.
It will NOT JUST BE ME.
My friends who are now successful NZ health professionals: doctors, dentists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, nurses and dietitians, all have their own wisdom to share. I will attempt to dig deep into their success secrets, top exam results recipes, mistakes and challenges they faced and many, many, many more… and share these valuable, priceless knowledge with everyone interested.
What are you waiting for? Start following this site and I promise that you will not be disappointed.
